March 24, 2026
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm @ Online Event
Join the Family Resource Center of San Mateo County (FRC) for a welcoming session on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). The training will be presented by Bridge to Life, an affiliate of The Bridge School that brings decades of expertise in AAC, mobility, and CVI to individuals with extensive speech and/or physical disabilities.
This training is for parents, caregivers, and professionals and will cover what to expect during AAC assessments, how AAC systems are chosen, available funding options, and ways to advocate communication support that meet a child’s needs.
