Please join the Family Resource Center of San Mateo County (FRC) for this presentation on the importance of In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) benefits for children and youth with disabilities. IHSS supports families caring for children with severe disabilities who need additional support and supervision.

This training will cover how to apply for IHSS, what paperwork is required, and how to gather key documents such as medical and school records, helping families feel confident and supported throughout the application process. This training is intended for parents/caregivers of children with disabilities, and professionals who work with these families.

This training is presented by Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, a private nonprofit law firm that has provided free legal services to low-income individuals and families, seniors, people with disabilities, and domestic violence survivors since 1959.

The training will be offered in both English and Spanish.
