The Family Resource Center of San Mateo County invites you to this online training to learn about the components of the Individual Education Program (IEP), the language under Special Education law known as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and what to look for when reading your child’s IEP.

This training is presented by the San Mateo County SELPA (Special Education Local Planning Area). The mission of the San Mateo County SELPA is to support special education students in achieving high academic and functional performance by providing equal educational opportunities, as well as information, resources, and support to students, parents, and school staff.
