Gabriela Diaz-Santos is a Family Resource Center Coordinator, who provides families with information, support and information on how build advocacy skills to help meet the needs of children and families the FRC serves. Gabriela’s previous job titles have provided her with skills that help her connect and help families. Gabriela has the background in supporting families with children with special needs and/or disabilities, she has been guiding her daughter through this journey, which also provides her with this personal experience. Gabriela is a mother of two, her son and daughter encouraged her to join the PTA at their elementary school and has signed up for an additional year as the Treasure. Gabriela loves to spend time with loved ones and enjoys family game nights. She has lived in the Bay Area all her life and grew up in South San Francisco, where she has always been surrounded by family. Family plays a huge role in who she is today, as they taught her to always be the better person but to also fight for what she believes in. This brings us to why she decided to join the Family Resource Center, Gabriela is very dedicated in helping families and eager to learn and make a difference in any way she can.
